Siblings and Serpent Pokemon

One of my very close friends, whom I also consider a brother, was feeling down recently. I decided to doodle a little something up for him =) I hope he likes it!

Even in the pokemon world, I always go after serpentine pokemon, such as Ekans, Dratini, Seviper, and of course, my starter in Pokemon Black was Snivy, the grass snake-type pokemon =) Even though I couldn't fit all the serpent pokemon, I got my main favorites. My Serperior, Eros, curled up catching some Zs, my Dragonair, Lance, getting some lovin's, while my Arbok, Nagaeina, being all protective since she's the 'oldest' in the group.

Sketch wise, I can overall say I'm satisfied with the outcome. When I was working on Arbok, I wanted to throw in some extra details besides her hood just being one solid part of the body, to give her that realistic hooded cobra appearance, if that makes any sense >_<; It took a while to get her markings equal and somewhat symmetrical ^^;

4 years ago, on 10-27-2007, I walked down the dimly lit isle of my church, each step jingled as I proudly wore my personally made white flip flops with wedding bells on the top. I remember clutching my bouquet of red roses nervously yet excitedly as I looked forward and smiled. I can still recall the pounding in my heart as the man who I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with stared back at me with loving deep brown eyes, and smiled. We could feel the tension between us, as I neared the alter and my father raised my veil, tears swelling in his eyes, essentially giving his youngest baby girl to a man he now trusts with my life. After we said our vows and tolerated the preacher's long winded speech, we were finally pronounced husband and wife and kissed, completely & utterly happy that we achieved our happily ever after and would now spend countless moments together until death do us part. :)

I wanted to do a lil something special for my anniversary and I actually did this sketch based off of one of my wedding pictures.

To all my fellow peeps who are seeking true love... I know I'm pretty young in comparison to some of ya'll, and I know I got married at the extremely young age of 18 years old, but I will say this. Love will find you someday, and usually in the most unlikely of places you expect. Who would of thought that a snarky comment about this man's smoking habit (who was a stranger then) would lead me to have a ring on my finger and announce my undying love for him? ;) There are rough times, yes, cause anyone's who married and says they never argue is full of shite. We have our bumps and disagreements, and although I've cried and he's gotten frustrated, we know that without each other, we would go insane and fall into a deep sadness. The difference between a happy marriage and a doomed one is when you can get over that hill and look each other in the eyes and not think "Well I won this argument." No, that is not a happy marriage. A happy married couple, even after an argument, will look each other and say their apologies, even if we don't know for what reasons, and go to bed without anger or hurt.

Sorry for my soap box, but these are the truths I've learned in just my short 4 years of married life. It can be frustrating, crazy, but beautiful and fulfilling at the same time. I love you, Eric, and I will always be by your side until the end of our days.

One of my recent anime obsessions has been Soul Eater. I absolutely love the idea of Lady Medusa and Professor Stein being a twisted & dark couple, so I decided to throw mine and Eric's fursonas into some cosplay action ;) Eric would make a most interesting Professor Stein.

So I've been noticing some hatred going on in the world. Whether you smoke, drink, have sex with someone of the same sex and/or with multiple people, albeit whatever you're into, there is always that opposing person(s) that feels like they have to tell you what you're doing is wrong, and how it just pisses them off that you're different in general. Well, you know, I'm quite sick and tired of the drama llamas here, and I'm here to preach something, just for a minute >=/

We're all human. We all agree that there will be drama amongst the nation. How about we lessen the drama by accepting the fact everyone is different, and everyone has different opinions/morals.

Some people are potheads/drinkers, some are drug/alcohol-free, good for you either way. As long as you're an adult and can pay your own bills and support yourself, you can smoke as much weed and drink as much booze as you want, honestly, I don't care. However, if you're drug/alcohol-free, I'm not saying it's uncool or anything of the like. If anything, kudos to you, my friends. If you can proudly say you don't need drugs/alcohol to have fun in life and that you're proud you don't have any foreign toxins in your body, again, congrats to you because that makes you all the more stronger.

However, don't go up to someone who does smoke/drink and tell them they're stupid potheads/drunks who will never amount to anything just because they enjoy an occasional joint/drink to relax. It's just a douchebag move in general, not to mention, it's none of your damn business what people do in their private lives. If they want to get jacked up all the time and do something stupid they'll regret, let them, because they're adults, and they'll learn the hard way to be more responsible when they screw up, anyway!!!!!

I can name many famous artists who drank just about every day of every hour, such as the famous Vincent Van Gogh, and just about everyone knows this man's name. Jimi Hendrix, one of the best musicians to ever lived, was constantly under the influence of weed and listen to the music!!!! WHO DOESN'T FREAKIN' LIKE JIMI HENDRIX?!?! Whether you want to admit it or not, alot of people live normally average and pretty decent lives with some occasional relaxation time involving pot or alcohol. I mean, for God's sake, Obama freakin' smoked pot and drank booze and where is he at RIGHT NOW?!?!

End of rant. I know this can be a hot topic, but frick, I just everyone to get along... =_= Is that too much to ask?

Battles, in Love with Fall, & Blue Boone!

Due to some unknown plot turns, Chao's finally had it with Serpahim's bullcrap and decides to gear up like a good ole' fashioned vampire hunter. Blessed katana, holy water grenades, in the pockets store ninja 'stars' that are cross shaped, Webley revolver with silver bullets, and for the heck of it, a huge friggin' knife. I think she's ready, don't you?

Sketch wise, I think her expression could've turned out differently. It just doesn't look right with the situation she's in =/ But overall, I'm rather pleased with the turn out. The Webley revolver was referenced the best I could ^^; I don't draw guns often.

Some Paper Stuff & Some Wall Stuff

I've had this idea in my head for a very long time. I've always been inspired by many different kinds of music. Country, techno, metal, punk, alternative, rock, Celtic, German, and so much more. I wanted to share tiny snippets of different lyrics from many different emotions I feel when listening to the music. I may color this someday. For now, enjoy a sneak peek into my musical head.

At the hotel I work at, my HR executive asked me to paint our hallways down by the Human Resources Office to kinda brighten it up. She wanted me to do some nice quotes and 'artsy' them up. When everyone asks me how I long I've been painting, this is truthfully the first time I've ever worked with painting like this before.

This was the last one I did for Vincent Van Gogh =) Considering I knew he was well known for his sunflower painting, I figured this would be a nice way to show my appreciation for his work. Hope you guys like it!

I had some of our Engineering guys that work at the hotel to get each individual tile down for me to paint on, and then placed them back once they were dry. Everyone always asked me how I got up there to paint this! XD

A Wild Jessie appears! Wild Jessie used Paint! It is super effective! :)...I think? <_< To kinda give you an idea how big the quotes are on the wall.

Considering I live in the South, I decided to please the southern crowd at the hotel by doing a recognizable person's quote. Although I'm not a fan of Dolly Parton, I have to admit, this quote speaks many truths, thus I found it a good subject to work with.

Considering I live but a stone's throw away from Helen Keller's home, I thought this would be a nice tribute to the area I've been born and raised in. The wings were especially fun to work on :)

Though I've never read any of her works, this quote by Maya Angelou certainly reminds me of alot of important things in this hotel. Teamwork, cooperation, and many other things. I couldn't think of what to paint to go along with this quote. Ms.Yvonne, our HR secretary, made the suggestion of a red bird in the process of building a nest and I thought it was a nice image to fit the saying. =)

This is the motto that belongs to our little hotel.

2, Infernape, and Excalibur

So recently, I’ve come across 2, the Ranting Gryphon, and his work and oh my god… I wish I could hug this guy’s leg, his comedy is just epic awesome. I love his work not only cause it’s tear-inducing hilariousness, but he speaks the truth on a lot of issues a lot of people don’t want to talk about or hear about. He brings up many wonderful points and his anger inspires me to take action when I deserve to be righteously pissed off about something. His work relaxes me when I’m having a crappy day, brightens me up, and generally just puts me in positive moods =) I can’t thank him enough for sharing his opinions with us to broadcast to the world, because if the world needs to hear anything right now, it’s the brutal truth about how the universe works and how we need to nut up and take actions in what we believe in. If you guys want to hear his work, drop by at  his website! You won't regret it, I promise ;)

2, I certainly hope you enjoy this piece of fan-art and hopefully I may be lucky enough to shake your hand one day in person…and then proceed to drool on it with admiration XD

After drawing my Infernape, Jackie, a while back in my pokemon team piece, I just realllllly wanted to draw him again because honestly, I find Infernape’s overall appearance just fun to draw =) Not to mention, I must admit he’s possibly my favorite starter pokemon of all generations.

Sketch wise: I’m actually rather pleased with this. I figured the medallions should look like armor pieces, so that’s why they all looked strapped onto him. Who knows, I just might color this piece later! ^^

...However, I did noticed I messed up one of the markings on one of the pokes but I'm not gonna point out because darn it, I loved how the colors turned out on this piece XD LOL!

Sooo...I've been seeing everyone posting sketches of their pokemon team on B&W. I finally decided to hop on the bandwagon, take a look at my pokemon and portray them in the unique way as I see them. From left to right, you have:

Sunny
Species: Espeon, male
Lvl 78
Personality: Relaxed and confident. A little on the snarky side.
Wears an amulet coin around his neck.

Jackie
Species: Infernape, male
Lvl 79
Personality: Lonely and somewhat stubborn. Keeps to himself, but hates Medusa and they constantly get into fights.
Wears a black belt around his waist.

Medusa (nicknamed, Big Mama)
Species: Hydreigon, female
Lvl 78
Personality: Protective & hates to lose. For some reason, she views the different EV-lutions that Jess owns as her 'babies' and she has a tendency not to get along with Jackie.
Wears a dragon claw around her neck.

Eros
Species: Serperior, male
Lvl 75
Personality: Quirky and mischievous. Loves to pick on Aquarius from time to time, but if he's not doing that, he's being a naughty little thief that Jess has to keep a close eye on.

Personality: Timid and quiet. He's always being picked on by Eros and will quickly scamper off to Big Mama Medusa for protection. Sometimes Sunny, his brother the Espeon, tries to help him out and spars with him to make Aquarius gain more confidence in himself.

Lvl 77
Personality: Snarkiest of them all and confident in his fighting. This smugness has gotten him into trouble on many occasions, but likes to think himself as Jess's protector, and Jess can never stay mad at him. He tries to pick fights with Jackie but he refuses to fight Todd on account that Jackie knows he can stomp his butt into the ground in a heartbeat.

Colored Mika

Considering I haven't colored Mika (AT ALL in her creation), I figured not only since she got an updated look, she deserves a splash of color. The wrinkles in her purple skirt doesn't look right, but I still like the overall vibrant look to her outfit. I didn't mean to emphasize her boob though O.o; I meant to go over it lightly but it just didn't end up that way. Oh well!!! Love it! X3

Gators, Plot Twists, and Old Enemies!

Considering you technically can't call an anthromorphized gator a 'furry' because it has scales, I dub him a scaley :3 I had been watching Swamp People and for some reason, just wanted to attempt this image. Overall, I like how this gator' turned out =D I'm not sure if I drew his head a lil big but considering alligators do have pretty big heads, I figured it looks fine for my first attempt. I was going to put a background on this...but I got lazy XD;;; Sorry!

Chao hasn't seen Cole in what feel likes forever. One day, she opens her door to find a letter taped to the other side. She quickly snatches it up, hoping it's a letter from him. Her heart ever so slowly and painfully chipped into pieces as she read only two sentences. No explanations for his absence, no detailed apologies, just two simple yet confusing sentences.

"I don't understand...But...why?" She sobbed, tears slowly trickling down the sides of her cheeks.

(Just fyi, this is about Chao & Cole's storyline! Nothing has happened between me and my husband and we're all good, promise!)

I'm sure not many of you know who this character is, but her name is Mika. She's an old villianess of mine that has been sitting in the cobwebs of my mind, unused and neglected. A friend of mine on FA will be writing stories featuring evil girls getting what's coming to them and I just so happened to remember Mika! And Mika has never gotten any payback for the evil deeds she's done in her life, so I offered Rhazzazor to use her however he sees fit ;) I figured a sketch of her would help visualize her better for his writing.

As far as dastardly deeds go, Mika is an evil witch vixen. Her specialty is love potions and spells and she loooooves using her charms to get whatever she wants. She's robbed banks of millions of dollars, completely unarmed, with just a wave of her hips (and special perfume with special pheromones) that turn even the strongest of security guards into drooling slaves. She's stolen riches and money from men with wives and girlfriends and left men homeless with nothing left but the shirts on their back, all with her nasty love spells. The horrible thing about her trickery is that most of her spells and potions are so strong that even after they wear off, most of her lovers and victims don't remember anything from their past life, leaving them confused and having a strong urge to follow the mysterious vixen. Be careful of her charms, folks! she may leave you pennyless AND BRAINLESS!!!! XD

Sketch wise, I'm quite happy how this turned out. I wanted Mika to be subtle of her sexuality but at the same time, one look and you just know she's going to get her way! I figured a little bit of a gypsy look to her wardrobe seemed suiting to her overall character, since she does wander from place to place.

I loved how this turned out. It started out as just a regular profile picture of Chao, but then I added the snake because I think it's ironic how much snakes have to do with my life. My Chinese Zodiac is the snake, Eric's astrological sign is the serpent, have tow ball pythons, and my ultimately favorite animal next to leopards and lions =)

Been watching alot of Futurama and naturally, this was the result. I rather liked how this turned out. =3

When I hear this song, I rememberthe scene where the unicorn is walking along the bridge and it begins to pour down raining. I did something similar, only having my lioness wandering around (I guess in the Outlands of the Lion King set-up, considering there's random bones scattered) and wishing she could find shelter of her own. All in all, this turned out okay.

Once again, when I hear this song, I want to draw something dirty but I refrain and try to do something along the line of sexy. Here we have Chao in some rock star attire (sorta?) and looking like a star ;3 However, I'm ticked I messed up the star in her lil emote-bubble >_<

Truthfully, I wanted to do something funny with this piece, but I just couldn't think of anything, so here's a random angel ^^;

Last time I heard this song, I thought of a rather R rated sketch that was very passionate but because I'm trying to make this project PG rated at most, I decided to go with something a bit more deep. Here, Seraphim reflects upon his broken heart as Chao has 'sailed away,' so to speak, knowing she'll never be his.

Overall, I liked how this turned out =)

This piece didn't have any lyrics to it. But to describe it, it sounds like one of two things:

1.) Cliche tropical music that's slow and where you can imagine the palm trees swaying while hearing the ocean waves crashing upon the sandy shore.
OR
2.) The theme to you being so drunk that you're not gonna remember tomorrow. I opted for this one, obviously ;)
