Fat-n-Sassy & Tiny Toons

I don't know why but I've had this sassy & curvaceous dragonness pic had been in my head for days but I finally managed to get it out on paper =) She doesn't represent anyone but after sketching her, she reminds me alot of a close friend I know at work. Anytime a customer asks her how she's doing, she always replies, "Fat & sassy!" So in a way, this sketch reminds me of that good friend =)

After trying my hand at a Looney Tunes style Chao, I figured it was time to shrink her down and try the Tiny Toons style and here's the result!! Overall, I LOVE how this turned out. I was lazy and hid her other arm further back but I still love it!

REALLY OLD stuff (2006)

From November 2010 to...RIGHT NOW!!!

I've been on a kick lately of drawing non-furry stuff, but instead drawing regular animals, kind like Lion King style. I tried to incorporate a little bit of that style in and threw in a bit of my own. I like how it turned out, but I feel like I got the lioness's head either too small or her chest is way too big O_o One of the two, I know, is wrong. But I still like it :3 I love how the leopard turned out most of all! <3 Squee~

I did a 'what-if' pic of Mufasa and Taka/Scar as cubs. This scene takes place right after their father decided as to who would become king, and when Taka found out who was the chosen one, he probably had a few choice of bad words to say to his father, which would result a slap in the face with claws. This would be the following scenario after Mufasa finds his brother bleeding, asking as to what happened, and etc. You get the point.

Sketch wise, I like how Mufasa turned out. Kinda chubby since he's more muscular than Scar, and gave Scar a bit more lean and narrow look. I like how his black tufts of fur turned out X3 Not true Lion King style, but eh, still practicing =)

I figured since I belong to a club full of lion and lionesses on FurAffinity, and that my title in the club is 'dutchess', it only make sense to do my fursona in a more feral true form, so here we have Chao lion-ized and showing her title proudly. Snarky feline.

Overall, I LOVE how this turned out. Her pose turned out a little skinnier than I meant, but that's okay :3 I love how her face and paws turned out the most!! <3

Another what-if scenario. Walt Disney is all about kind-friendliness, so here's the truth about lions. When new male lions take over a pride, to get rid of the previous male's genes, the new male will kill and sometimes even eat the cubs that are in the pride currently. Afterwards, the new male will then proceed to mate with the cub-less females and begin to spread his genes. This is probably how Scar would really act like if he took over Pride Rock.

Sketch wise, I know I could have doen better on Scar's face. I didn't get it as narrow as I wanted. The hyenas are a little eh... The lioness here is a no-namer, and the cub she's holding is not even hers but a good friend's. She cared for it like it was her own and when she walked in on Scar mauling it, well, needless to say, she freaks out. Sketch wise, it's okay but I know I could have done better.

I had another dream about being pregnant that freaked me out so here's a sketch to vent. I'm okay with being around kids, but as far as interacting with them, not so much. I never know when and how to speak maturely to them (if that makes any sense) and I've only held a baby once in my life, and that was when I was 18. When I was holding it, you would think I was holding a bomb by the way I was freaking out.

Overall, I like how this turned out. I feel like I could have done the cub better and I probably could have done the scenery better but meh. Lazy, lol. I do like how well the mother lioness turned out. =)

So let me explain. When "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory" came out, they had some promotional candies to go along with a contest based off of the movie. One of those candies was the oh-so-heavenl Donutz:

If these was ever a time in my life I could say I was addicted to something, THIS WAS IT. Ladies, this was THE HOLY GRAIL of chocolate you would crave when that time of the month came around. I would go to gas station on the freakin' other side of town to get several of these!!! After the movie was no longer in theatres, however, they discontinued these godsend chocolates...I WAS AND STILL NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.

This is more or less a vent comic based on my sad addiction for those candies.

While listening to one of the new hits, "Love the Way You Lie," I couldn't help but be inspired by the lyrics and melody. It reminded me so much of the consequences of what would happen if Seraphim & Chao ended up in relationship. Considering their polar opposite personalities, they would clash constantly in such a way where things would turn ugly eventually, much like this situation. Clearly, Chao struck a chord with Seraphim and almost suffered his wrath. Seraphim would never hurt her... on purpose.

Sketch wise, I like how Chao turned out, but I feel like I could have done Seraphim's pose better. =/ But I like it enough to upload it, anyways.

I had been watching the anime series called 'Fruits Basket' and I got the strange urge to draw mine and Eric's zodias signs together. Eric was born on the year of the boar and I was born on the year of the snake :3 In Chinese Astrology, apparently the boar and the snake are suppose to be bitter enemies, and don't usually get along very well. XP Har har!

So if any of you watched the fourth or fifth episode of season 5 of Doctor Who, you KNOW why Chao is refusing to blink or look away from the angel statue. Chao's friend, Kayla, looks at her paranoid friend like she's off her rocker, but then again, she should be use to this by now XD

Sketch wise, I didn't really finish this like I meant to. I meant to give all the headstones names of friends which I know may seem creepy, but I look at this way. I'd rather use my ink to write names of those I love than waste it on those I despise =P But I do love how Chao & Kayla turned out, and I'm actually quite satisfied with the way the angel statue turned out =)

Another Bowser & Peach pic. I did one a while back that I was kinda so-so about, so here's a new one, with them kissing <3 I always thought Bowser and Peach belong together, because I really don't think Mario cares about her. When you think about it, he lets her get 'kidnapped' all the time =/ Y'know, doesn't care about installing a security sytem for the castle or anything, just lets Bowser take over whenever he freakin' feels like it. Anyways, enough of my rant...

Overall sketch, I'm very pleased with the results. I think I should have done Bowser's pose a little different but I'm still happy with him. I'm also proud how the kiss turned out <3 Squee~

One of my favorite things to do after Eric and I spend some passionate time together, especially in the winter, is make a cup of nice hot tea, preferably vanilla flavored. It just seems to make everything slow down, not to mention it warms me up.

So here's a sketch of Chao enjoying some nice tea, wearing one of Cole's sweaters to keep her nice and warm.

I figured since I didn't do a piece for Halloween, I'd do one for Thanksgiving so here we have Chao, turkey-fied, somehow!! This could be the result of a bad prank pulled by Cole or Seraphim that got their hands on a form-changing potion. Or this could be a bad dream Chao is having after eating too much turkey. Who knows? Either way, I rather like how this turned out. I've never done an avian fur before, and couldn't access a turkey reference, so I kinda winged it.

From June 2010 to September 2010

It's always been a strange goal of mine to do a rainbow-colored piece, since I love rainbows and such so here, I finally finished a fairy I had in one of my sketchbooks for over a year and she finally got her colors. Not too bad of a color job, if I do say so myself =) I love how her pose turned out. Her wingsare a little blah, but her hair totally makes up for it, I think. I think maybe I made her nose a little too big <.<...Oh well. OVerall, LOVE IT!! <3

I know it's not as detailed as some of my black and white dragons, but I mostly love him for his colors!! I tried to adjust the color settings on the scanner to bring out the color as much as I could, but alas, my scanner does not like the color orange =_= Oh well. I LOVE HIM!! *SNUGGLES*

I remember when Eric and I were still dating that when he left the house after visiting me, I would smell my pillows. They would smell like coffee, books, and slight Camel cigarettes. I know that may sound a little creepy, but it was a smell that always sent me swooning and this is usually how I would fall asleep at night. Holding my pillow tight as if it were him...

I just think this overall sketch is cute and turned out fabulous! <3

So my husband and I now own a ferret and I've experienced a new kind of love for this critter. I never understood why some people want to stuff their small dogs into their purses and take them everywhere, but now I do...except with a ferret. He's so bloody cute!!!

Sketch wise, I like how this turned out! Chao's overall pose pleases me, especially her expression. The purse she's adorning is actually based off of my 'blackhole' (aka my bag). The ferret was more or less doodled for humor purposes.

Yeeeeeah. That day sucked. Thank God for sketching as a stress reliever.

Another quetzalcoatl dragon, this time flying and looking pimped out with his random jewelry accessories...But I do indeed love how this one turned out. If I can figure out a color scheme, I just might color him <3

I was very bored at home so this is the fruit of my boredom. She's been in my head for a while but I finally got it on paper =3 I like how her overall pose turned out but I feel I could have done something a little more with her necklaces, but oh well. I'm pretty satisfied how her crystal ball turned out as well <3 Overall, love it!

Though the lion on right bothers me >_< He didn't turn out so well. Ah, well.

From February 2010 to June 2010

Chao’s finally married to Cole after several years of love, romance, hardships, and victories. She was walking around the reception room, thanking guests for attending this momentous ceremony, but her eyes spotted a tall dark figure in a lonely corner. Her eyes widened in disbelief, shocked at the very fact he came to her wedding; the wedding between the woman he so loved once and another man who stole her attentions away. Chao stormed over to Seraphim, her heels clicking against the floor angrily, ready to yell at him for the audacity but when she got within arm’s distance, he only placed a hand on his chest and took a bow. She was certainly caught off guard even more as his cold hand took hers, placing the softest of kisses on it. Her fist relaxed as Seraphim straightened his posture, smiling in the warmest and sincerest way that her eyes have not seen in years. Cole watched from the punch table and only smiled. He invited Seraphim in the first place in a way to give him the chance them one last dance together. Cole knew and respected Chao’s past with him, and he was certainly not going to disrespect that by not inviting the vampire. Seraphim looked into her eyes, placing his other hand on her lower back and shifted her close, whispering his only and final request of Chao. “May I have this one last dance, my petite?” She looked back into those red orbs, knowing now there were no foul intentions in his being here, and smiled back. The guests looked on in confusion at this strange and mysterious man, clearly not related by blood, dancing with the bride and why she seemed to be crying but with a smile…

Overall, I loved how this turned out. Seraphim’s suit was just kinda made up in my mind so I have no idea if you’d qualify it as a uniform or suit, but Chao’s wedding gown and hair is based on what mine looked like =) I like the poses of both characters and the feel it gives off.

After doing my Hellsing lions, I wanted to do a sketch based off a picture of two lions I saw once. It showed the lioness roaring angrily at the male lion, who looked none too thrilled to be yelled at by the unhappy lioness. So here we have Integra-Lioness giving Alu-Lion an earful of what she thinks. What about, who knows? But I thought it came out fabulously XD I know in the previous sketches I didn’t gie them glasses but I wanted to in this one for shits n’ giggles. X3

Here lately, it seems there’s been a bit of lack of spark between our lioness and leopard, so the lioness decides to use simple little tricks like pretending to yawn and stretch to get the leopard’s attention…Clearly, results will be fabulous.
Overall, I like how this turned out. I love how the lioness turned out and the expression of the leopard’s tickles me <3

It was a REALLY bad day at work and so why not draw an angry and furious sketch of Chao ready to open up a can of whoop-@$$? It's a little sketchy but I love how well the pose turned out for being a quick doodle. =3 Especially the wing! Whoot!

"I Want it That Way."

So I got an iPod Nano for my birthday and to help load up said iPod, my sister burned me some music of some punk stuff, songs like metal turned punk, romantic songs turned punk and etc., and one that I couldn't help but fall in love with was a punk version of one of my Backstreet Boys favorties, "I Want it That Way" which strangely sounded pretty awesome and I wanted to do a sketch based on this version! I can't see Seraphim having one of the Backstreet Boys voices, but I can certainly seeing the lyrics playing about between him and Chao. Overall I like the sketch. Chao's expression turned out well, but Seraphim's expression is a little more aggressive than I intended, but it looks good to me either way =)

I remember someone once said to me that since I live in the South, they thought it would be an interesting idea to dress Chao up in southern attire. While most 'lady' southerners down here wear holey white tanks with rebel flags on them, braless, sporting blonde mullets, and blue jean shorts that could pass for panties, I decided to be classy and give Chao a true Southern lady look by placing her in this get up. I thought about coloring it later since it turned out well! I must say I'm proud how simple yet pretty the dress turned out, especially the hat cause I suck at cranial accessories XD I decided for kicks I added a basket of strawberries and a nice little field. Overall, LOVE IT! ^^

I realize nowadays we draw fursonas in ways we wish we could be... so finally I said 'screw it', and tried to myself in a more realistic approach, still staying furry. Tried to my real self a little geeky and how my hair really looks 75% of the day, thayt I'm really a nerdy gamer, and love baggy jeans and shirts. I love my fursona, Chao, but we're almost nothing alike. She's certainly sexier, powerful, and etc., but I wanted to draw my true self. Geeky, artsy, but being cool with that =)

While listening to Perfect Circle's "Annihilation," I had the most profound image in my head.

I've always loved music box melodies, like the kind you hear in little jewelry boxes and one that usually has a ballerina dancing or something, remember? While listening to it, while the melody sounded innocent, the lyrics are quite dark and thus this image was spawned.

I could imagine this would be one of Seraphim's dreams. Chao, doll-size, dancing innocently, and him, gigantic in comparison, ready to snatch her up in his strong clutches, teeth and claws bared to take what he's always desired.

I looooove me some Torchwood and Doctor Who... but more Torchwood. and I won't lie, I have the BIGGEST crush on the guy who plays Jack. Quite the smexy man and as one of the chick characters, Toshiko, said, "He'll shag anything that's goregous enough!"

I can imagine Chao ending up in London somehow and when Jack comes across her, seeing that she's clearly not human, he would introduce himself...and quite boldly, at that ;3 But only in my dreams~!

Sketch wise, I'm rather proud how well my Jack turned out, considering humans aren't my best ^^; And Choa looking surprised yet willing for conversation!! <3 I'm quite satisfied and happy with this piece!!

So I've hopped the bandwagon a little late, but I decided to do my take on an anthro-version of our favorite artistic sun goddess, Ammy from Okami :3 And I must say, I loooove how this turned out, though I wanted her weapon to look more propped up on her hip, but other than that, I'm quite pleased with the final piece ^^ Especially the dripping ink from her tail!!

So here's the story of this piece:

Did you know that Seraphim and Chao use to be partners in the assassination business? Yep, tis true! Back when Chao was younger and more trusting, her and Seraphim teamed up on several kills and Seraphim was under the impression Chao would decide to be with him forever. However, when Chao turned down eternity with him, Seraphim was a little more than displeased, and back then, he never did accept hearing the answer 'no.' So, Seraphim took what he wanted form her by force (blood and virginity) in a sick sense of 'marking' what he believes will always belong to him.

Overall, I love the raw emotion I was able to portray in this piece. Even if this isn't a complete body sketch, I love the symbolism of Seraphim's black hair, kinda representing the darkness consuming what was once innocent, and will forever be scarred. I do love how evil and manic Seraphim turned out the most =) Overall, love it~

As I listened to Owl City’s “Fireflies,” so many emotions ran through me at once. First, I recalled a memory of my childhood where it was a warm summer’s night. My family and I were coming back from dinner at a restaurant and as we neared a cow pasture that’s directly across my front lawn, I could not believe my eyes as I saw how the field was sparkling with so many fireflies. It was just so magical and it seemed there was a hundreds of them. I can still remember the relaxed and floating emotion of that moment in time and I decided to portray this moment.

Grr, I smudged the ink on Chao’s foot with my wrist >< I still loved this enough to upload it into my gallery though.

While thinking of older artwork, I remembered my Hellsing lions and decided to give them another shot. Here we have serious looking Alu-lion walking with an attentive Seras-lioness, discussing things about the REAL master of the pride, which all you Hellsing fans know to be Integra, which she’ll be coming up in the next sketch. I tried to give the lions as little accessories as possible, besides Alucard’s pentagram that’s usually on his gloves. And to make sure I defined the Seras lioness to actually look like her anime/maga self, I tried to give her more fluffy chest fur and slightly spikey fur on the back of her head like her hair style in the anime. Overall, I love it!! <3

Because Hellsing’s Sir Integra Wingates Hellsing is just dripping in awesomeness, she deserved her own sketch. Because lionesses don’t really have manes, I gave her a streak of different colored fur on top of her head that streaks down her spine a bit. Also decided to stamp the Hellsing logo on her side :3 Even as a lioness, she looks like she would yell at you for no good reason. XD
